The application of Provinea® natural stone flour is based on the concept of natural nutrient supply. Fine roots, symbioses with soil life and clay-humus complexes supply the plants. Provinea® maintains the mineral diversity in the topsoil, which soil life and plants need for healthy growth. Our Provinea® natural stone flour can be used by plants in plant trials within a short time (within 6 weeks). This is very important, as the natural weathering of rocks and the release of minerals via soil biology are crucial for a rapid effect.

For thousands of years, sediments have been the basis for fertile soil. The naturally improved soil fertility after a natural addition of sediment, such as a flood in the Nile Delta or a volcanic eruption, shows that the natural cycle basically provides all the nutrients needed for healthy and high-quality plant growth. Once understood, this system can also be easily applied to crop cultivation.

Silicon makes the difference!

Rudolf Steiner recognized early on the importance of silicon for plant and soil health. Silicon acts like an "accelerator" for the metabolism, promotes growth and yield, and strengthens the defense against infections. New findings show that silicon is also important for detoxification and, in combination with other biostimulants, enhances their effect. The effect is quickly visible through leaf-permeable silicon (e.g. Siproplant®): the yield and health of the plants increase. Since many soils are depleted, a return of silicates and minerals (Provinea®) is essential for increased fertility.

Goodbye to conventional fertilization!

With each harvest, plants remove 60-70 minerals and trace elements from the topsoil. Conventional fertilization essentially replaces this with 3 growth-stimulating elements (nitrate, phosphorus, potassium). Calcium and occasionally magnesium are then returned to the soil through liming. The result is high-yielding crops with increasing disease infestation and foods that are poor in vital nutrients. Regular application (2t/ha) of Provinea® natural stone flour combined with targeted catch crops, farmyard manure or compost promotes humus build-up and maintains soil fertility. The diversity of trace elements is maintained. This creates the basis for high-quality foods that provide us humans and animals with complete nutrition.
