The challenges for greenkeepers
The quality of the lawn is the calling card for every greenkeeper. Our ideas and solutions help to meet the demands of your audience.
- Perfect greens which are playable even when it rains.
- Avoidance of chemical pesticides.
- Healthy lawn cultures on artificially created substrates with as little humus as possible.
Easier said than done!
Our knowledge of ecology and soil science has inspired us to support the greenkeepers. Our goal is for the greenkeepers to understand the tools for plant health and to dose them as the situation requires. No ready-made cocktails, but the targeted use of individual components. In the end, this saves money and resources.

fungal diseases
Lawn fungal diseases are one of the biggest troublemakers on golf courses. They represent by far the greatest challenge.
There are parallels in other cultures, too. However, golf course lawns are much more difficult to keep healthy. Due to the special requirements of the greens, we cannot build up humus-rich microbiology to treat lawn health. It is precisely this microbiome that is essential for all plant health.
If it is missing or is greatly reduced by the treatments with sprays, the crop becomes susceptible to disease. This means that the crop cannot be kept healthy naturally through the soil. The greens on golf courses are therefore more susceptible to infections. This is why leaf treatments on golf courses are so important. The "Smart Growing" concept is ideal for avoiding chemically synthetic fungicides. The herbal biology from KE has a postbiotic effect on the soil and plants. In combination with Siproplant®, the grass's own defenses are stimulated. We recommend liquid sulfur fertilizer for this.
This cocktail is a good alternative way to treat playing surfaces. The cocktail can be used preventively or curatively. We would be happy to advise you on the dosages we have had the best experience with on golf courses.

thatch layers
Thatch layers significantly affect the quality of the greens. Frequent aeration and sanding are part of the solution. With "Smart Growing" the greenkeeper can also counteract this comprehensive lawn problem causally.
The soil structures lack the biology that breaks down organic matter. The water flow on the greens with waterlogging and water-repellent soil structures worsens the health of the lawn. The greenkeepers' experiences with "Smart Growing" show that both the water-repellent structures of the soil aggregates and the water permeability of the greens improve.
The result is better lawn health and increased durability.

Silicon the Viagra of the Greens!
We have adopted this statement from the greenkeepers. With "Smart Growing" we promote stalk strength, particularly through the silicon content.
Silicon, as an important component of the cell wall, stabilizes the stalk, making it firmer and more robust. This reduces rolling resistance on the greens. The balls roll faster on the surface. At the same time, the root growth of the grass (as above and below) is promoted. The resilience of the greens improves.
This makes the golfer happy and brings the greenkeeper plenty of praise.

The enhancer!
Indispensable when it comes to making full use of the spraying agents used.
With Squall®, the spray agents used are concentrated on the leaf surface. Squall® ensures that the water-repellent leaf surface of the grass accepts the spray coating better. The active agents used are held better on the surface (adhesion) and distributed more evenly (spreading). At the same time, the applied coatings are highly rain-resistant. This means that the active agents can be strengthened by up to 40%.
This means that Squall® has been proven to save on spraying agents. Especially for expensive treatments, Squall® should always be added to the spray mixture at 0.5% of the water used. It is completely biodegradable and, like all our products, is FIBL listed.
